Mar. 31 The most important lady in the Soviet Union.. Mrs Elena Marenkov - wife of the Russian dictator. The first picture to be publshed inthe western Europe of Mrs. Elena Malenkov wife of the Russian leader. She was once a singer in Roscow's Bolahoi Thatre) and is believed to be the influence behind Mr. Malenkov's recent edicts on the aesthetica of make-up. She has a son aged 8 and a daughter aged 6. She i9s a member of the Supreme Soviet, and the model of the new Soviet woman. The portrait was published in a recent issue of a Russian cultural magazine called Soviet Okoya Isgustva'. All pictures of her in her stage roles have been withdrawn
