1962 - Angry Yevgeni beams on Britain. Russia Angry young man, Yevgeni Yevtushenko, flew into Britain last night with a Western haircut, a beaming smile and dark-haired wife, Galya. The 28-year-old poet whose critical verse has caused head scratching in the in the Kremlin arrived at London Airport as a guest of the British council, his coats for a fortnight under the Anglo-Soviet cultural exchange pact. Yevgeni, whose poetry readings have packed Moscow theatres with swooning teenagers, refused to be drawn on his implied criticism of soviet life
