Jun. 06, 1960 - New international airport at Moscow: Up to now only Soviet planes and machines of the Polar lines were allowed to start and land at the Moscow airport of Sheremetyavo (SHEREMETYAVO). Since June 1st, 1960 Sheremetyavo is now an international airport where aeroplanes from London, Paris, Peking, Delhi, Warszawa Budapest, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Sofia, Kabul, Copenhagen Helsinki, Amsterdam and different other foreign cities can land on the summer field.
