Mar. 03, 1964 - UN Conference on trade and development continues General debate: The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development today continued the opening round of debate and policy statements. Some 1, 500 delegates and observers are attending the Conference which has been called to consider problems involved in the expansion of international trade as a dynamic force in economic and social progress throughout the world, and to take practical steps to meet the special needs of the developing nations.
