Jan. 01, 1980 - Russian Dissident Alexander Ginzburg holds Press Conference in London: Alexander Ginzburg, 42, the freed Soviet dissident, said in London yesterday that it would be a tremendous mistake to stage the Olympic Games in Moscow. Speaking through an interpreter, Mr. Ginzburg, looking frail, but whose condition has improved since he was released, and flown to America last MAy, said Moscow was ridding itself of undesirable elements prior to the Olympics. People who could become the focus of attention were being arrested, he said. Mr. Ginzburr, who was exchanged with four other dissidents, for two Russian spies, is spending 10 days in London.
