Jun. 06, 1983 - Thursday June 30th 1983, New York City: One of the foundres of the independent soviet peace group, Sergie Batovrin, held first press conference today since arriving from the soviet union. mr. Batovrin who helped found the group to establish trust between the USSR and the USA was imprisoned for a month in the psycho nuerological hospital #114 in Moscow last year and was continually harrassed by soviet authorities until his forced expulsion on june 19th of this year.Mr. batorvin, an artist, was joined at the prress conference with a fellow founder of the group Mr. misha Ostrovsky, who was expelled earlier in the year from the soviet union after being held under house arrest
