Nov. 11, 1978 - Salesman Return After 10 years In a Russian Labour Camp: Nikolai Sharygin, a London Businessman, flew back from a business trip to Moscow yesterday 10 years later the planned, after a nightmare decade in Soviet prisons and the Gulag labour camps. Russian- born Nikolia had lived in Britain for twenty- two years when he went to Moscow in 1986 on a two-week business trip. He was seized by the KGB and jailed for alleged treason and desertion from the Red Army-charges he strenuously deni. Andropov, and thrown in the death cell to intimate him. Condition were awful, he said. But I always hoped I would return to Britain one day. Last night Nikolai was staying at he home of Ian {page his former boss in Surrey.
