Jun. 06, 1968 - Artistes from the Russian Balalaika Orchestra rehearse for tonight's opening performance: The famous Osipov Balalaika Orchestra makes its London debut with a one week season at the Royal Albert Hall, commencing this evening. Appearing with the orchestra are stars (singers and character dancers) from the Bolshoi Theatre in a combined company of a hundred. Today artistes from the orchestra held an impromtu rehearsal on the steps of the Albert Memorial.
