Russian secret police inspector at Geneva
1954 - Mrs. Petrov decides to stay in Australia. Her Escort flies home. Mrs. Petrov, whose Russian diplomat husband sought sanctuary in Australia, herself accepted political asylum when the airliner in which she was travelling stopped at Darwin. Mrs. Petrov was practically forced aboard the plane at Sydney by her Russian escort in spite of demonstrations by a crowd of onlookers. The couriers continued on their journey to Moscow.
