Mar. 10, 1967 - Five Year Old Girl Is Chosen For Labour's Poster Campaign In GLC Elections: Five year old Ruth Haston, of Paddington, has been chosen for Labour's poster campaign in the Greater London Council elections. Her picture was used while artists were working out a poster to use. Then they called for pictures of other little girls. Hundreds poured in. The artists and experts went into a huddle. When they came out, they said: We'll stick to Ruth. Yesterday Ruth posed by the picture that will soon be seen throughout London.
