In this case the deficit of the Met would again be raised instead of lowered. Sandor Konya, who was born in Hungary, is one of the best known singers of the world. He is usually singing as a member of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, the Berlin Municipal Opera and in Milan, Florence, Bayreuth and other well-known opera houses of the world.
