1966 - Hungarian Composer Working on New Opera of Hamlet. Hungarian composer Sandor Szokolay was this month awarded the Kossuth Prize for his opera music composed on the drama Blood Wedding by Federico Garcia Lorca for the Budapest and Wupperthal Opera houses. Szokolay has started work on a new great opera, music for Shakespeare's Hamlet.
