Sep. 23, 1963 - Filming of Hamlet is Complete: The filming of the combined Anglo-Danish television production of Hamlet which has been staged at the Kronborg Castle at Elsinore (Helsingor) in Denmark which was the setting that Shakespeare gave to the play, is now complete after only 10 days work, including rehearsals, which has meant that the 100 or so workers that have been involved in the production have had to work a fourteen hour day. Photo shows Hamlet (Christopher Plummer) and Ophelia (Jo Maxwell Muller) play their tragic love scene in the Royal Chapel of the Kronborg Castle at Elsinore
