School coach party unable to cross into East Berlin
Sep. 09, 1960 - East-Berlin closed for West-Germans: People of the Federal Republic are not allowed to enter East-Berlin since September 9th, 1960, 0.00 o'clock, except with special permission. This permission has to be applied for at the East-German police. Schoolgirls of the St Angela School of Osnabruck who are staying in Berlin at present for an information visit wanted to go to the State Opera in East-Berlin but they did not get permission to enter East-Berlin.
