Schoolgirls taking part in Aldermaston March from London

1958 - Start of Four Day H-Bomb Protest March. Trafalgar Square to Aldermaston. A four day Easter demonstration march against the H Bomb and missile bases started this morning from Trafalgar Square to the Aldermaston Atomic Weapons Research Establishment, Berkshire - a distance of 49 miles. A mobile canteen is accompanying the marchers - they will have frequent breaks and will stop en route overnight at various points. The protest is planned by 19 Socialist MPs.
