Scientists give evidence of strange monster in Loch Morar
Nov. 24, 1970 - November 24th 1970 - A team of London University scientists launch their report on a strange monster seen in a Scottish loch. A team of scientists based at London University are convinced they have found evidence of a strange new monster in Loch Morar about 30 miles from Loch Ness. Today scientific bodies and the press were invited to the London Zoo where members of the expedition released its report Loch Morar Survey 1970'. The report contains new biological data about Loch Morar and undisclosed evidence pointing to the existence of a large unidentified Species'. Photo shows 78 year old Mrs Dora Metcalf (L) who sighted the object in Loch Morar, giving a description of what she saw. Dr. Neil Bass and Mrs. E. Montgomery-Campbell, both members of the survey team, are seen at today's press conference
