Scientists study Harwell reactor at special school
Mar. 22 Scientists learn about Harwell's reactor at a special school: William Crieff, fom Scotland, inserts a plug into source hole of the reactor, one of the small reactors made for use by students at the School. A colleague measures the time he takes and warns him when the permitted time is elapsing. The plug measures the slowing down of the neutrons in the graphite. Danger time is 10 seconds
