Screaming Lord Sutch arrives in Australia

Aug. 08, 1964 - The Professional Nut Case - Makes 700 A Week. Lord Sutch Arrives In Sydney: Screaming Lord Sutch arrived in Sydney, Australia recently and announced I'm a professional nut case - and he looked like one. Sutch (22) was wearing at top hat and tails, tight blue trousers and a dirty mauve coat - topped by shoulder length hair. He carried a battered trunk and gladstone bag full of theatrical props - including - a red plastic set of lungs - a devil's cap - a starting pistol - yellow tin candelabra - a carving knife and assorted highly coloured clothes. Despite his appearance Lord Sutch - whose real name is David said he was perfectly sane. His professional brand of insanity has been highly profitable to him - for after paying his agent - band etc. he usually makes about 700 a week - and not long ago he paid 15, 000 cash for a new house outside London. He is in Australia for a concert tour. Photo shows With his long hair high in the air - Screaming Lord Sutch is seen on his arrival in Sydney - Australia
