Lad Birk Accepts Loan To the Royal Parks Of A Hepworth Sculpture: Lady Birk, Parliamentary Under Secretary of the State at the Department of the Environment, accepted the loan to the Royal Parks of Barbara Hepworth's nine-piece sculpture, Family of Man, in Hyde Park today. The ceremony took place near the Stanhope Gate off Park Lane. The loan has generously been made by Mr and Mrs Nigel Broackles and is the first to follow Lady Birk's announcement during the opening in Regents Park of Sculpture in the Park encouraging such loans to the Royal Parks.
