Sculpture of Christ the Mediator by Arthur Fleischmann

Oct. 10, 1959 - Sculptor Arthur Fleischmann completes one of his biggest works: Mr. Arthur Fleischmann, the sculptor, has just finished one of his biggest works. It is a 14ft. bronze that will go up to Leicestershire where it will be fixed to the front of a new church at Hinckley. At present it is at the brass foundry of John Galizia, in Battersea, and it is one of the tallest bronzes ever made at their foundry. The big bronze is of Christ the Mediator (Christus Mediator) calling the people to come to him. Photo shows Mr. Arthur Fleischmann with the bronze sculpture at the foundry today
