Sculpture by Eduardo Chillida, Art Museum of Basle

Feb. 02, 1969 - A five ton sculpture for the Art Museum of Basle: At this year's exhibition Documenta in Kassel, the sculpture Autour du vide (Around the nothing) by Eduardo Chillida has been one of the main attractions. Now this huge, five ton sculpture belongs to the Art Museum of Basle. It has been brought by a large lorry from Paris, and the unloading has been very difficult, as our picture shows, where we see the sculpture entirely in chrome steel, lifted by a crane in the court of the Art Museum
