Sculpture, Kathchen of Heilbronn, design for a fountain

Dec. 04, 1963 - Kathchen of Heilbronn. Well known young girl of a theater play by Heinrich von Kleist, is loved and honoured by the citizens of the old free imperial city since the first performance in 1810. In Heilbronn you can visit a Kutchen-house and the portrait of the good maid is decorating thousands of cards, etiquettes and prospectus. For an employee of the City-Administration a tailor made a Kathchen'-cloth. Now the visitors of the town can be welcomed by the well known girl. Now the fathers of the City will build up in memory of Kathchen a fountain, to which an industry-factory gave 10, 000 Marks. Photo shows Heilbronn's Kathchen looking at the model for the fountain-sculpture by Dieter Lapple from Heilbronn
