Mar. 27 Erotica in the English Country garden: Tastefully arranged amongst the spring flowers and shrubs of Mrs Lucette Cartwright's garden in Witley, Surrey are some of the most visually explicit erotic sculptures to be found today. They are the works of Mrs Cartwright who has made her name over the past few years for these controversial sensuous sculptures, ruggedly executed and masterfully evocative of emotional dynamism, they have been called plainly pornographic by some. Her daughter Camilla has been the inspiration and model for most of the female figures. Camilla is an actress trained in France. Some of the sculptures are at present on view in Holland Park.
