Feb. 28 World's biggest sculpture takes shape latest progress in the world's biggest sculpture is seen here in this new view of Stone Mountain, Georgia. The giant granite carving measures 180 x 69 feet and shows the figures of President Jefferson Davis, General Robert E. Lee and General Stonewall Jackson. Carving of the Stone Tapestry has been going on since before 1958. Progress, however, has now been speeded up by the introduction of high intensity gas cutting torches. Completion is expected in the early 1970s
