Search for lost plane in desert, examining aerial photo

1968 - A needle in a haystack: five engineers and a pilot took off from Al Bahrieh Western Desert oasis last week in a small plane and parties combed the radius drawn up by the plane's flight range for days, but found no signs of the craft. A wreck which was thought to be it, , proved to be a WW2 plane, with its cargo of bombs still alive'. The question remains, where did the small aircraft go? Hijacking is out of the question. Could it have fallen in quicksand or in Lake Karoun? The search is still on, although hope is completely lost in finding the passengers still alive.
