Seated nude by Pierre Bonnard, in Munich exhibition
Oct. 22, 1966 - An exhibition of famed French painter Pierre Bonnard was shown at the Munich House of Art on the anniversary of his 100th birthday. Over 250 oil paintings, lithographs, posters, and watercolors were shown there and at the Louvre in Paris. The works were gathered from 34 museums and 50 private collections throughout the world. Pictured here is a Bonnard work entitled Seated nude, putting on socks
