Dec. 16 Munich, West Germany: Conducting Course of Sergiu Celibidache, Romanian conductor - Sergiu Celibidache (picture) the new General Music Director of Munich, West Germany, is holding his first conducting course in the capital of Bavaria. About sixty people, partly from the Federal Republic, partly from various European countries, are taking part. The course is divided into three parts; First the theoretical part with lectures and conducting exercises; the second part contains orchestral work and lectures. The third part is only permitted for the twelve best participants from parts A and B; These twelve candidates are working, under the supervision of Sergiu Celibidache, with the full orchestra of the Munich Philharmonic
