Jan. 29, 1953 - Storm over Europe. Severe storms pummeled North and Middle Europe. In Denmark, ports were severely affected, with a 250 ton ship being slammed against a quay wall. On Jutland's east coast the winds were extremely strong and the North Sea pummeled bulwark walls with high water
