Jun. 06, 1976 - An unique exhibition of sculpted animals: An exhibition of domesticated beasts and other creatures opens tomorrow June 22nd, at the Whitechappel Art Gallery They are Freakish looking sculptures by a French husband and wife, Francois Xavier and Claude Lalanne from Paris. Their studio and house is in a village near Fontainebleau, Paris. They produce the most weird and unusual works under the combine name of Les Lalannes. Photo shows Francois, his wife Claude. and their daughter Valerie, with sheep, realistically done in wood - some are headless
