Sheila Miller with Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award certificate
May 05, 1970 - American Girl Scout Wins Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon presented certificates to 222 young men and 166 young women winner of the Gold Award of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme. Two of these who received their certificates were Sheila Miller, an American Girl Scout and Catalina Pons from Spain.
