Mar. 22 She Thought She'd Never Dance Again But Now She Dances for the Queen. A girl, who, because of an attack of polio during the war, thought she would never be able to dance again, is to be one of the stars appearing before the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance at the London Colliseum on November 2nd. She is 23 year old Sheila O'Neill who dances every night in the West End show Paint Your Wagon'. As a child sheila was a keen rider, spent all her spare time in the saddle and was regarded as a promising horse raider. Five years ago she was stricken with polio, her patience and preserverance proved the doctors who said she would never dance again, completely wrong. On the opening night of Paint Your Wagon, the audience held up the show for five minutes while Sheila returned to take a bow. Sheila O'Neill lives in a trim little bachelor flat off Marble Arch, she does all her own household chores, and for relaxation likes to read books on ballet and horse riding, her two chief loves
