Sheila Scott
Jun. 06, 1971 - Sheila Scott Off On Her World And A Half Flight: Sheila Scott left London Airport this morning in her attempt to be first to fly the North Pole in light aircraft. Sheila will have to spend as long Seighteen and a half hours cramped at the controls of her little piper Aztec. It will be the most dangerous of her world and a half flight and will be the supreme test of endurance, navigational and flying ability. Photo Shows Sheila Scott attaching the wire to the heart reaction recorder which she wears during the flight - prior to leaving London Airport this morning
