Dec. 12, 1959 - Preparing For The St Martin-In-the Fields Crib installation In Trafalgar Square: Work is in progress today on the St Martin-in-the-Fields Crib installation at the Foot of the traditional Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square. The Crib weighs one and a quarter tons and is to have three life-size groups - and the 18 ft. stable has been made by boys of an approved school. the sculptural groups are the work of Josephine De Vasconcellos the Anglo-Brazilian Sculptor.
