Oct. 10, 1963 - 1963 Technical Assistance And Special Fund Pledging Conference: The equivalent of an estimated US131, 500, 000 is expected to be available for 1964 operations of the Expanded Programme of Technical Assistance and the United Nations Special Fund, on the basis of the financial support announced by 89 Governments at today's annual Pledging Conference. Of the131.5 million, which includes an anticipated United States matching contribution of some 57 million, approximately 80.5 million go to the UN Special Fund and 51 million to the Expanded Programme of Technical Assistance.
