Jan. 01, 1959 - Silver Mousetrap installed In Foyer Of Ambassadors Theatre: a silver mousetrap was installed in the foyer of the Ambassadors Theatre this morning to commemorate the 2534th performance this evening of The Mousetrap - now in its seventh year. The mousetrap was given by author of the play Agatha Christie. The Mousetrap is now the longest running production of any kind in the history of the British Theatre.
