Sir Arthur Bliss with American Wind Symphony, London
Jul. 07, 1961 - Floating Musicians to Serenade from the River Thames: The American Wind Symphony from Pittsburg wll be floating literally - tonight when they perform at the Festival Gardens, Battersea, for the musicians will be riding on a specially built barge which will be moored in the Thames. The audience will, however, have its feet firmly on the ground, as it will be on land. The barge will be moved to various Thames locations during the next month.
