Jul. 07, 1967 - Sir Francis Chichester Receives Accolade From Queen: Sir Francis Chichester, the lone round-the world yachtsman, today sailed up the Thames from Woolwich in Gipsy Moth IV, on the last part of his journey from Plymouth, to the Royal Naval College, Greenwich, where he received the accolade of Knighthood from H.M.
