Sir Laurence who was knighted in 1947, will have a singing and dancing part in Guys and Dolls at the Old Vic in December - The announcement was made today in the Queen's Honours list for her Birthday. Sir Laurence is at the moment appearing at the Cambridge Theatre with his wife Actress Joan Plowright.
