Jun. 06, 1960 - For five days, ever since she returned from New York, Vivien Leigh has hope for a meeting with her husband, Sir Laurence Olivier, but it has not come. Even Vivien, Britain's greatest actress, can hide it no longer - she knows there can be no reconciliation. She is expected to see her solicitors today to discuss a divorce before she returns to New York on Sunday. Lady Olivier said in a statement in New York last month that Sir Laurence, 53, has asked her fora divorce so that he can marry actress Joan Plowright, 29, his former leading lady.
