For five days, ever since she returned from New York, Vivien Leigh has hoped for a meeting with her husband, Sir Laurence Olivier, but it has not come. Even Vivien, Britain's greatest actress, can hide it no longer, she knows there can be no reconciliation. She is expected to see her solicitors today to discuss a divorce before she returns to New York on Sunday. Lady Olivier said in a statement in New York last month that Sir Laurence, 53, has asked her for a divorce so that he can marry actress Joan Plowright, 29, his former leading lady.
