Soldier demonstrates Carl Gustav anti-tank gun, Aden
Aug. 08, 1963 - Swedish designed guns for British Army. The Royal Marines have been carrying out demonstrations in Aden, of the Swedish-designed Carl Gustav, an 84mm platoon anti-tank gun. The Carl Gustav, which is already in use in the Swedish Army, weighs only 30 lbs, and has greater accuracy, faster rate of fire and more reliable discharge than the 3.5 inch rocket launcher currently in use.
