Sonia Sutcliffe helped into Dewsbury Court

Jan. 06, 1981 - Peter Sutcliffe on Ripper Murder Charge; Peter William Sutcliffe, 35, a long distance Lorry driver of Garden Lane, Heaton, Bradford, was accused at Dewsbury court of murdering Jacqueline Hill, a Leeds University student, found dead on waste ground in the city of November. Sutoliffe was arrested last Friday night in Sheffield by anti vice police patrol as he was seated in his VB ruler talking to a prostitute. It was found that his car had false number plates, and after his arrest a hammer an a knife was found in the roadway. Miss Hill was the last of the so called Yorkshire Ripper Murders.
