1970 - A LADIES BAND FOR THE NEW OPERA VICTORY AT COVENT GARDEN. The cast for Richard Rodney Bennett's new opera VICTORY includes a Ladies Band seven young ladies who appear on stage playing musical comedy hit tunes of the 1890s in a seedy hotel in the Dutch East Indies. the new opera VICTORY has its world premiere at the Royal Opera House. Covent Garden on April 13th.
