Statue of David Lloyd George unveiled, Cardiff, Wales
Jul. 07, 1960 - PRIME MINISTER UNVEILS LLOYD GEORGE STATUE: Prime Minister Harold Macmillan this afternoon unveiled the National Memorial statue to Earl Lloyd George. The Statue - paid for out of a £6, 000 memorial fund contributed to by Welsh folk all over the world - is the work of London sculptor Michael Rizzello - is eight ft. high and stands on a plinth in the Gorsedd Gardens, opposite the National Museum of Wales - in Cardiff.
