Statue of David Lloyd George unveiled, Cardiff, Wales

Jul. 07, 1960 - Prime Minister unveils Lloyd George Statue: Prime Minister Harold Macmillan this afternoon unveiled the National Memorial Statue to Earl Lloyd George. The Statue paid for our of a 6, 000 memorial fund contributed to by Welsh folk all over the world is the work of London sculptor Michael Rizzello is eight ft. high and stands on a plinth in the Gorsedd Gardens, opposite the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff. Photo shows Mr. Macmillan unveiling the memorial in Cardiff this afternoon
