Feb. 01, 1968 - A statue in memory of Baron Pierre de Coubertin was unveiled by the sculptor Gerard Koch on Wednesday at Grenoble by Dr. Michallon, the President of the Olympic Committee. The statue is situated at the entrance to the stadium where the opening ceremonies will take place next Tuesday
