Strawberries growing in greenhouse, Germany
Jan. 25, 1965 - Strawberries are gathered in during the winter months in the hothouses of Strawberry-king Herbert Hess, 35, in Remsbach-Valley near Stuttgart. Some 135000 strawberry plants are growing in his 1000 square meter hothouse, in which two bee-folks care for natural conditions. A crop of 100- 160 pounds of berries is rasped each day
