Streetcar library in Itabashi, Tokyo, Japan

Nov. 11, 1968 - Strength Named Library'; Streetcars have almost disappeared from Tokyo, but one will remain for some years to come in the city's Itabashi Ward where it has been towed into a children's playground to serve as a library with books and magazines supplied, and children are encouraged to bring books to exchange. It keeps the children off the streets and under cover during the rain, apart from providing education. It's a good idea and costs very little from the budget of the local council
