Jun. 07, 1960 - 7-6-60 Anti Kishi strike paralyses Japan Transport System for three hours demonstration and strikes continue to be held in Japan against the continuation of the United States Japan Security Treaty and in protest at the forthcoming visit to Japan of President Eisenhower. A widespread strike was called by the Left Wing General Council of Trade Unions in an attempt to force Prime Minister Kishi to resign. This strike paralysed all the transport system.
