May 05, 1968 - Rioting Students Clash with Police in Paris. Tear gas and hoses were used during yesterday's clash with French students and French riot Police during a demonstration in the University area of Paris. The students were protesting against conditions at the Sorbonne and against the closure last week of the Faculty of Letters in Nanterre.
